FARO DIVING CENTER IS LOCATED IN STAZZO, AT THE FOOT OF THE MOST ACTIVE VOLCANO IN EUROPE.. MOUNT ETNA!
Rose up on a 1334 lava flow, stazzo is one of the five sea villages of the lemon coastline of Acireale.
The privileged position provides an incomparable view on mount etna and on one of the most suggestive tracts of the lava cliff and of the ionian coastline, with the possibility to easily reach the main sites of the ionian coast, such as: Acireale, Acitrezza, Aci castello, Zafferana, catania, Taormina, riposto , Giardini-naxos and still the etna national park’s lava flows and woods.
How to reach us
BY PLANE
From the Airport of Catania (“Fontanarossa”) you have three possibilities:
- Take a bus (it lasts about 1hour)
- Take a taxi
- Rent a car. Thanks to our partnership with rental cars you can have a special rate for renting a car and get to our diving center.
BY TRAIN
All the trains that link Rome and others Italian northern cities to Syracuse and Agrigento get to “ACIREALE” Train Station. From the station you can take a taxi or a bus to get to
Faro Diving center.
BY BUS
The bus line “Interbus” links Roma and others main cities of Sicily to Acireale.
BY CAR
- Distance from the main cities of Sicily:
- Acireale: 5 Km
- Catania: 20 Km
- Taormina: 30 Km
- Agrigento: 180 Km
- Palermo: 208 Km
From Messina to Catania take the A18 highway, take the exit “Acireale” and then follow the directions to Stazzo.
