TIMPA WALL
A BREATHTAKING CLIFF….
The diving point is at 5 minutes sailing from our diving center. Climbing down a 6 meters sea bottom, we find a 150 meters long cliff that decomposes into a splendid collapse. After the classical jump in the blue we stop at a 18 meters quota where the cliff stops its vertical shape giving space to a range of big stones. Among the stones, very big pinfish are often around and also it’s possible to meet pelagic fish.
In case of good visibility, it’s possible to admire the Terni wreck 20 meters down. Halfway, at a depth between 12 and 14 meters, the entrance of a 20 meters deep cave opens but it’s so tight that just one diver per time can go in. The cave is full of fake corals and sponges. The presence of Mosdea is recurring.
In the point in which the cliff meets the collapse we progressively return towards a 5 meters quota where it’s a must to have the last look in the blue before emerging.
